National Conference 2021

Waitlist Now In Operation

We have now reached capacity for our available accommodation. Any delegates still wishing to book will be placed on a waitlist and will only be approved if more spaces become available.

The speaker for our 2021 conference will be Anne Witton. It will be held in Shropshire, England . from 4pm on Friday 1st October to 2pm Sunday 3rd October. The exact location will be given once your registration is complete.

Seminar Options

We intend to offer three seminar options on the Saturday:

Apps, macs and tech traps: Keeping my screen time healthy, positive and pure (Stuart Parker)

This seminar will explore good habits and boundaries around online devices, in order to make our phones and computers serve us instead of becoming their slaves. We'll be considering how to interact well with a range of online services (eg video, social media, blogs) and how to stay well away from pornography.

What does it mean to be male or female? (Andrew Bunt)

Genesis 1 tells us that when God created humanity he made us male and female. But what does this mean? What does it mean to be male or female, why has God created two sexes, and how should that influence the way we live? We’ll explore what the Bible has to say on these questions, how it’s good news for all of us, and ultimately how it all points us to Jesus.

Nurturing your intimacy with God (Laura & Andy)

This practical, positive, encouraging workshop will address the struggles we have in maintaining healthy spiritual disciplines. We will have realistic contributors who have struggled themselves and who will share with us the practical wisdom they have learned along the way. We will also look at how to spur one another on in community.

Saturday afternoon options

On Saturday afternoon, there are three hours of free time to relax however you wish to. There are three activity options that you can opt into below. There will also be some slots to talk through personal matters with people from the prayer ministry team: you can sign up for one of these slots at the conference.

A visit to the village of Llanyblodwel Llanyblodwel is situated on the River Tanat, to the south west of Oswestry. It is reckoned to be one of the prettiest villages in the border area between Shropshire and Wales. The church of St Michael the Archangel is a Grade 1 listed building and the old school and the schoolmaster’s house (both now private residences) are both Grade 2 listed. The timber-framed Horseshoe Inn is well worth a look too, and good views of the river Tanat are to be had from the old narrow bridge which spans the river here.
