I hope you're keeping well during this time.

I'm guessing you're not yet back to a 'normal' rhythm of life. That's true here at TFT too.

How wonderful, then, that we belong to an unchanging God who is always dependable. I'm guessing many pastors have been making that point in recent times. So many, perhaps, that the truth that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever can seem almost cliché. Let's ask for eyes of faith that will allow us to see the glory of this truth and the amazing implications that flow from it.

I'm working two days a week in August. It's great to be back. However, this is now my last month on the TFT staff team. I'm excited to be heading to vicar factory from September. I'll be studying at St Mellitus East Midlands while working on placement for a local church. You'll see me around as I plan on staying an active member of TFT.

I'm grateful that you've signed up for this prayer newsletter and are continuing to hold up the ministry in prayer. I leave with a conviction that God is going to continue to bless TFT's ministry. Alongside prayer for TFT, I'd be grateful if you can pray for me as I start this new season of life.

• We have an exciting announcement coming up about this year's National Conference. Please pray that it will be well-received and for wisdom in its implementation. We pray that, like other years, this year's National Conference will be a big encouragement for our membership.
• Our 'Honey From The Rock' conferences have been unable to run as planned so far. We are still planning to run it in Sheffield on 28th November 2020 as well as running it as an online conference early next year. Please pray for wisdom around the decisions still to be made.
• We have a new Safeguarding Policy at TFT. Please pray for its implementation to be smooth and the training that goes along with it to be helpful.
• Planning is going into a new online women's Barnabas Group. Please pray for the logistics around this.
• Pray for the staff team who face restrictions while working remotely.
• Simon is busy with many technical jobs. It is hoped through reviewing our systems we can find several efficiency savings which will enable us to better spend each pound generously given to TFT. Pray for wisdom for Simon, and for the team, as different options are considered.
• That our Ascend magazine, which is being sent out next week, would be an encouragement to many.
  

• On 26 August, Simon will be taking the lead on a Zoom speaking engagement with Christian Unions Ireland. Please pray for grace and wisdom. Please also pray that God’s word will impact many for His glory.
